Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Frailey Woodworks different from other furniture shops?
We’re a small, family-run workshop specializing in fully custom, heirloom-quality hardwood furniture. Every piece is designed and built in-house from scratch, using premium materials and an artisan process. We provide daily updates via a shared Google Photos album so you can follow along as your piece is created.
Can I customize your existing designs?
Absolutely. All of our pieces are customizable. Whether you’d like to change the size, modify features, mix elements from different designs, or start entirely from scratch, we’ll work with you to create exactly what you need.
Do you hand-select your wood?
Yes — unlike many furniture companies, each of our pieces starts with a visit to our local hardwood supplier where we hand-select every board, choosing only the top 5% for consistency in grain, color, and structural integrity. The result is a piece that looks beautiful, feels even better, and is built to last for generations.
What is your current lead time?
Our current production build time is 6–10 weeks. This timeline reflects the meticulous care and attention to detail poured into each one of our pieces.
Where are you based?
Our studio is located 30 minutes West of Fort Worth, Texas. Every piece is made right here by our small team of expert craftspeople.
Do you offer white-glove delivery?
Yes, all of our large furniture pieces are delivered via white-glove service, which includes room placement and packaging removal. We want every part of your experience to be effortless and premium. Delivered with care, our white glove shipping service ensures your custom furniture arrives safely within 3–7 weeks, tailored to your region.
Can I request a brand-new custom piece?
Yes! Whether you want to adapt a design in our catalog or have a vision that’s entirely your own, we offer full-service design and fabrication. Just send us a message to get started.
What design styles do you specialize in?
We draw heavily from mid-century modern and Scandinavian aesthetics — clean lines, thoughtful curves, and exposed joinery that showcase the natural beauty of wood.
Do you take on commercial or collaborative projects?
We do! If you’re a designer or business looking to collaborate or commission a piece for a commercial space, feel free to reach out to discuss your project needs.
